Abrindo oficialmente o calendário 2008, a CBKB apresenta o Circuito Nacional CBKB/WAKO.
Com o crescimento mundial do esporte e a participação da modalidade nos Jogos Africanos e nos Jogos Asiáticos Indoor no ano passado, o que marcou a estréia do KickBoxing WAKO no circuito olímpico mundial, todos teremos de nos adaptar a estes novos tempos e nos preparar para o forte circuito mundial da entidade.
Para isto, a CBKB enxerga que somente com muito intercâmbio de treinamento e participação em lutas constantemente é que nossos atletas poderão encarar de igual para igual os países mais avançados.
Desta forma foi criado o Circuito CBKB/WAKO de lutas amadoras e profissionais nas três modalidades de ringue.
Serão 11 eventos, com periodicidade mensal, sempre realizados no CT da CBKB, e que têm como principais objetivos:
- Dar possibilidade de nossos atletas lutarem com freqüência, pois além do circuito temos confirmado o Brasileirão, a Copa Brasil e o Pan-americano do Chile, além dos constantes eventos profissionais.
- Treinar nossos árbitros no sistema olímpico de julgamento de combates.
- Transformar o CT da CBKB no primeiro ginásio de lutas do Brasil, nos moldes dos ginásios tailandeses e de outros países como Holanda e Portugal.
- Preparar nossos atletas para as lutas maiores, mantendo-os em atividade. Se um atleta quiser lutar mensalmente, terá esta oportunidade.

O primeiro evento será organizado no sábado dia 23 de fevereiro e cada atleta receberá um kit de suplementos, DVDs da Focus e alimentação.
O evento contará com toda a estrutura preventiva de acidentes como ambulância UTI com desfibrilador, médico e fisioterapeuta.
Estamos buscando parceiros para aumentar e melhorar a premiação de nossos atletas num futuro próximo.
